Volakas

Volakas is a small, family-run producer from Messara, Crete, crafting single-varietal extra virgin olive oil in strictly limited batches. Each harvest yields just 300 bottles per variety — Koroneiki (black label) and Manaki (white label) — cold-extracted within hours of picking to preserve freshness, polyphenol content, and character. Volakas is among the few olive oils in the world entitled to a certified health claim under EU Regulation 432/2012, thanks to its exceptionally high phenolic levels.
